To continue the celebration of our healthcare workers from Hospital Week and Nurse’s Week, Inspirien would like to recognize Emergency Medical Services Week May 15-21, 2022. The theme for EMS Week 2022 is Rising to the Challenge; a theme that our fellow EMS workers are all too familiar with. Everyone here at Inspirien would like to extend our appreciation for the entire EMS Community including- first responders, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, emergency medical dispatchers, firefighters, police officers, educators, administrators, pre-hospital nurses, emergency nurses, emergency physicians, trained members of the public, and other out of hospital medical care providers. Emergency Medical Services is a vital public service, and we recognize those members of Emergency Medical Services teams who stand ready and willing to provide lifesaving services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Ensuring access to quality emergency care dramatically improves the survival and recovery rate of those who experience sudden illness or injury, and emergency medical services has grown to fill a gap by providing important, out of hospital care, including preventative medicine, follow-up care, and access to telemedicine. The sacrifices and commitment given by everyone in the EMS Community is vital and Emergency Services Week gives us the opportunity to recognize and thank them for the work they do for all of us.
Rising to the Challenge recognizes everyone in Emergency Medical Services who has fought on the frontlines and continues to serve patients and communities. Again, we thank you for the thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education to enhance their lifesaving skills, and we are grateful for your dedication to healthcare and healing.
